【KarmenP话题】Carmen和Karmen——上帝的花园 爱沙尼亚两代超模

插！！！！！！！

作为爱沙尼亚的最有名的两位模特，Carmen是我最喜欢的“老模”之一，无可争议的runway
star，Karmen是我最钟爱90模特，以美好的肱二头肌享誉业界。

Carmen来自西语，形容美丽、麦芽肤色、坚强非常有吸引力的女孩，Karmen是Carmen的斯洛文尼亚和克罗地亚语版本。
同样是爱沙尼亚特产，连名字也几乎一样，但遗憾的是作为不同时代的模特，两位卡门实在没什么交集。
Karmen开始职业模特生涯正值Carmen暂别T台从政期间，出道至今除了和这位著名的老乡加前辈为同品牌一起走过秀先后代过言，两位在大片和广告方面却没见到什么合作。

这里说明一下帖子标题是为了顺口，现如今“超模”这个称呼人人适用、老少咸宜，去四大时装周扭一圈的都叫国际超模，引Karmen原话：“I wouldn't say I'm a supermodel. Forme, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss are the supermodels, for example. I'm just a normal model who is doing fine." "For me, 90s were the time of thesupermodels. Now we just have many good models but not supermodels.”无比赞同。

因为来自同一国，本土又没有几个名人，杂志采访Karmen时常常八卦地提起Carmen，十分关心这两位卡门台前幕后的关系。可是我观察下来她们的关系并不像人们期待的那样亲密，属于泛泛之交吧。
"How would you describe your relationships with
that famous Estonian model?
Karmen: "Very good, she's doing some shows, we are talking during the shows. It's very nice to have her there."
"What's interesting is that in ELLE magazine ranking you're in a higher spot than Carmen. "
Karmen: "I don't really think that's a ranking. It's just about who is more successful at the moment."
"But there still is a little intrigue in it?"
Karmen: "I wouldn't say I'm in a higher position than Carmen Kass.
For sure not. Carmen Kass is like an icon. I'm looking up to her. She one of my
favorite models. She's definitely not in a lower position than I am."
"It's great to hear that. Because in many fields,especially in our little Estonia,two competitive people must definitely be enemies."
Karmen: "No.I'm very happy when she's sometimes in the same shows. I don't have anyone to talk in Estonian. Other models ask me if you don't have any Estonians in this show and I answer "no". When Carmen is not here, there's no one else."

【从塔林出发到米兰】
塔林，曾经的欧洲十字路口，爱沙尼亚首都。



14岁的Carmen在Tallinn的超市购物时被星探发掘，时尚模特的全新世界让她看到了改变当下生活的可能。但由于母亲的极力反对，不甘失去机会的Carmen仿照母亲的同意签名只身闯荡米兰。独自在异国他乡谋生，没有亲人陪伴身边，意料之外的激烈竞争和陌生环境让她无从应对，三个月后Carmen又回到了爱沙尼亚。四年之后她再次远离家乡追求自己的模特事业，迅速在时尚界崭露头角，等待了许久的梦想终于生根发芽枝繁叶茂 。

同样在塔林，15岁Karmen在Tallinn戏院门口，被现在的经纪人Margit Jõgger相中，自此踏上时尚之路，在那之前她还搞不清楚那些奢侈品牌，在学校里常常受到同学的欺负。事业初期同样很艰难，先当一天站12小时的试衣模特，设计师只把你视作不会吃喝拉撒的人体模型，采访中提到过这段艰苦的经历:
"Driving around in the subway all the time, map in a hand, all alone. Being only 15 years old in a strange city is quite cruel."When I started I was
Stella McCartney's fitting model. And I remember I had to be in front of the
mirror 12 hours a day 3 month straigh, at the same time I had a really high
fever and I just collapsed couple of times a day. And I also have problems with
my back. That's why I can easily pass out.
"There are lots of young models who have to travel a lot and be away from home. And when you are 15 and going to travel. The young models cannot be away from their parents and friends. And they don't have a shoulder to cry on and they just
disappear suddenly, they just cannot handle being inside of it. It's a really
hard job. Models change all the time, every season there are new models, there
are only a few who stays for longer. "

【棋手和守门员】
Carmen家庭条件很不好，父亲弃家不顾，留下母亲支撑家庭。Karmen五岁丧母，由祖母带大。同样不完整的家庭，她们的童年记忆都不会多美好，但是又都受到家庭环境熏陶：
Carmen的父亲曾是一位国际象棋老师，从小培养了她对国际象棋的热爱，她代表国家出征国际大赛，是爱沙尼亚著名的国际象棋大师。
2005年担任了爱沙尼亚国际象棋协会主席一职，，在那之前她已经和一位名叫Eric Lobron的德国象棋大师建立了恋爱关系。







女神发表从象棋看人生的感悟，不得不说她真是用生命热爱象棋：

因为这是个绝对需要智商的爱好，所以别人在称赞她美丽的同时往往多加了一个“Clever”的形容词。代言某服装品牌时甚至给她整了一套象棋大片

Karmen出身体育世家，在爷爷和父亲的影响下六岁就开始接受体育训练，展露体育运动方面的天赋，跑步、游泳、溜冰、各种球类运动无所不能，得过不少奖，还跳过四年舞，在跟NEXT公司签约之前在爱沙尼亚国家足球队呆了整整一年，担任守门员工作。

【Michael Kors女郎 维秘天使】
2011年Karmen取代前辈Carme成为Michael Kors的新muse，来自统一国家只是个巧合，她们一前一后被选择的原因大概在于Michael Kors所欣赏的同一种特质，符合他想要塑造的那种健康、性感、时髦的女性形象。
