----------Hangeng's Behind-the-scenes Stories: About his Dramas--------
Hangeng’s first dram---Youthful Stage”is the new year present to all the Hangeng’s fans at the year of 2009.
However, “Youthful Stage”happy as it seems actually contains many tears.
“Youthful Stage” was originally planned to be on the air during the lunch break on CCTV-2（a cardinal channel）, but just a few days before the broadcasting day, the drama was abruptly changed to be on the air during 3p.m.---4p.m. on CCTV-Children Channel. It was such an abrupt change that Hangeng’s fans were at a loss and why the drama was suddenly be treated so badly by CCTV.
Afterwards, an insider wrote the following on his blog a few days after“Youthful Stage”were on show:
Some company(alluding SM company) hoped to add several concert scenes at the start of the drama, but the producer rejected this idea, Then SM company requested that all the members must participate when advertised and interviewed, which was somehow also rejected by the producer. The SM company was so irritated that it wanted to cancel all the things(advertisements and interviews). Hangeng was about to cry when hearing the news, and I(the insider)just did not know how to console him, but he just shook his hand silently, saying“it does not matter”.
Actually, the saddest one was Hangeng but he just said nothing.--------20/01/2009
CCTV is China Central Televsion.
CCTV which many major companies did not dare to oppose to first experienced this kind of rejection from SM company, so it changed “Youthful Stage”to CCTV-Children Channel abruptly. Besides, when TV was playing the 3rd Chapter, people could download 1st-10th Chapters from Internet. It could be inferred that it was CCTV that exposed the later chapters of “Youthful Stage”to Internet, which meant that CCTV had already abandoned the “Youthful Stage”.
These were all the consequences of SM company’s struggle for its own rights’ against CCTV, but only Hangeng had to burdened those consequences.
There was a thing before SJ’s 3rd album’s propaganda acitivities.
In short: a drama company bulletined the leading actors’s selection time to SM company, but SM company did not tell Hangeng. Hangeng did not know the thing until the selection time of the leading actor was over and the producer asked why Hangeng did not come，but it was too late.
Many people have been told that it was because Hangeng was so that he could not act in the Chinese version’s drama“Boys Over Flowers”. However, the fact was SM company wanted to add another member and another trainee to participate in the drama with Hangeng, which was rejected by the producer, so SM company did not want to arrange activities for Hangeng.
After knowing so many unfair things about Hangeng, Hangeng’s fans gradually know the nature of SM company. SM company just does not want Hangeng develop himself, it just want to develop the whole group through Hangeng’s dramas, so when SM is rejected for its so many absurd requests , there is no need for Hangeng to participate in those dramas.
