The profit for 1934 amounted to a paltry 491RM on the sale of 160, 000 writing instruments. The banks were still owed 430000RM yet the crisis was over. The storm had been weathered. On 17 March 1934 the company's name was changed to Montblanc-Simplo GmbH.
