So I want to play RE2 Remake on my MacBook Air with an M1 chip. While there is no native MacOS support for the game, it is possible to play through virtualisation method using an application called Crossover.
While the game starts fine, it crashes after the first cutscene with the truck driver giving me a fatal error. Others who have tried to play have already figured out that the crash only occurs in the 2nd cutscene and the rest of the game can be played normally.
So I'm asking for anybody to give me their save file once inside the RPD so I can load up that save file and continue playing. People suggest to make a cloud save using a Windows machine, but I don't have a windows machine nor do any of my friends have a capable windows machine to play this game.
If someone can also provide a save file for RE3 Remake after the prologue part with Nemesis, that will also be really helpful. RE3 has the same crash case as RE2 Remake and I need a save file after the prologue to play the game.
For RE2 Remake, you'll find the save file here - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\STEAM USER ID NUMBER\883710\remote\win64_save
